USA Department of Homeland Security to Administer “M” Visa for Student Pilots

The Department of Homeland Security announced that it will create a “M” Visa before 2010 to replace the J-1 Visa issued to international student pilots training in the USA. The ”M” Visa will have the same characteristics of the J-I Visa. The Transportation Security Administration will conduct the background and criminal history checks for applicants.
