Dayjet Ceases Operations
by Scott Burgess, released on Tuesday, September 23, 2008

After nearly one (1) year in operation, Dayjet Corporation announced that, effective September 19, 2008, it ceased its jet services and cancelled all future flights, pending further notice. According to a statement issued by Dayjet Corporation, the shutdown is a consequence of the company’s inability to arrange essential financing.

John Staten, Chief Executive Officer of Dayjet Corporation, stated that the company is unable to issue refunds, or to honor any customer reservations for flights scheduled to take place after September 19, 2008. He suggests that customers contact their own credit card company and request a credit pursuant to the Fair Credit Billing Act.
